It is with great satisfaction that we are able to report that the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) has unanimously approved the University of Philosophical Research for full national accreditation and offered UPR high praise for its innovative degree programs.

The DETC is located in Washington, D.C., and was founded in 1926. It is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a national accreditation agency.

All of our professors, staff, and students have helped pioneer this great work. Now, a new day has arrived for us all, full of the promise of very good seeds having been gathered and carefully planted. You all share in this labor and this birth, and we are very grateful for what you have helped us achieve together.

Thank you,

Obadiah Harris

President, PRS and UPR

Michelangelo Buonarroti, Il Sogno (the Dream - 1533)

The angel’s trumpet is pointing at the figure’s forehead rather than his ear, because renaissance medical tradition held that the forehead was the location of one's imagination. It was that part of the brain which was understood to receive and see the vision of sudden inspiration.
