PSY 505 - Creativity and Healing: Expressive Arts Therapy
Students will explore various theories of human creativity in order to better understand the rationale and practices of expressive arts therapies (EXA). Through the systematic practice of and reflection on self-selected forms of creative expression, communication with an EXA practitioner, and relevant reading and writing activities, students will develop an understanding of the role of human creative expression and its potential contribution to growth and development as situated in consciousness studies/transformational psychology. (3 credits)
